What is Mishna Yomi?

Mishna Yomi (ืžืฉื ื” ื™ื•ืžื™ืช) is a daily learning program that covers the entire Mishnah - the foundational text of Oral Torah - by studying approximately two mishnayot per day. The cycle takes about 6 years to complete.

The Mishnah contains 63 tractates organized into 6 orders (Sedarim):

  1. Zeraim (Seeds) - Agricultural laws and blessings
  2. Moed (Festival) - Shabbat and holiday laws
  3. Nashim (Women) - Marriage and family law
  4. Nezikin (Damages) - Civil and criminal law
  5. Kodashim (Holy Things) - Temple service and sacrifices
  6. Tahorot (Purities) - Ritual purity laws
