About Daf Yomi
Daf Yomi (ืืฃ ืืืื, โdaily pageโ) is a daily regimen of learning the Talmud. Under this system, the entire Babylonian Talmud is covered in a cycle of approximately 7.5 years (2,711 pages).
The program was founded by Rabbi Meir Shapiro in 1923 at the First World Congress of the World Agudath Israel in Vienna. The current 14th cycle began on January 5, 2020.
Current Seder: Kodashim
The Daf Yomi cycle is currently learning Seder Kodashim (ืกืืจ ืงืืฉืื), which deals with the Temple service and sacrificial offerings.
